I completely understand what it’s like to have your anxiety become so intense, you feel you’ve lost your ability to access your intuition and make the choices in life that are truly best for you and align with your values.

Your values get lost in ruminative or intrusive thoughts, worst case scenarios and constant worries, making decisions seem overwhelming and sometimes impossible.

This can make our choices and transitions in life incredibly hard to navigate whether it be dating and finding a partner, navigating relationships or choosing your next career move. It can also impact our self-esteem as we start to feel lost or out of control.

If any of these sound like you - you’re in the right place! I love to help people develop a deeper understanding of who they are, understand their values, and navigate life decisions in a way that feels aligned and anxiety-free! It’s so joyful to watch clients build skills, feel confident and empowered, and make the changes they desire in life.

Hi, I’m Grace, and I am a holistic integrative psychotherapist…

Welcome! I’m so happy you are here.  My name is Grace, and I am a holistic integrative psychotherapist working with clients in Texas and Massachusetts.

I specialize in working adults who are navigating high anxiety, obsessive thinking, family/relationship conflicts, struggles in dating, self-confidence concerns, and behavioral issues, such as impulsivity or emotional dysregulation. My personal journey navigating anxiety, exploring values and navigating relationships combined with my professional experience has emboldened my commitment to supporting individuals and couples in facing the unique challenges life brings. I am completely invested in motivating you to challenge negative thinking, end negative behavioral patterns and embrace your true potential. I work best with those who desire the skills to cope with life's challenges, are motivated to see change in their life, and fully understand that we can be empowered to create our lives.

My expertise is in integrative holistic psychotherapy where my primary focus is to combine different modalities and psychological practices to create a treatment plan best fit for you.

I pull from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and transpersonal (spiritual) psychology.  I also offer faith-based treatment for those interested in bringing their faith or spiritual practices into their therapeutic work. My supportive, hands-on style is designed to assist you in building a toolbox of skills to take with you in creating the life you desire that aligns with your values. Much of my work incorporates a spiritual or values-based perspective, which I have found helps us better understand our emotional and physical experience and helps us find clarity on what has meaning in our lives.

For my training, I earned my MSW degree at Columbia University in New York and then participated in a post-graduate fellowship in behavioral medicine at Boston Behavioral Medicine in Massachusetts to further my expertise. While I was there, I also founded the DBT Skills Group Program, which I now manage virtually. Following that fellowship, I further honed my skills through joining a teaching team at Harvard Extension School in the I/O Psychology Department.

If my style and expertise sound aligned with your needs and goals or if have any questions, please reach out to me using the contact form here.

DBT Skills Groups

This is a virtual DBT Skills Group that meets weekly via Zoom. The group is didactic, feeling more like a class, and we learn DBT skills across four modules: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. There are two groups hosted each year - one starts in January and one starts in August.
